Description
The original Trade Dollar was first minted in 1873. It was designed partly as a way to remove some of the surplus silver regularly coming into the United States market following the American Civil War. It has a fascinating story, and is perhaps the most controversial coin ever issued by the United States Mint.
Here is a 50-PACK of our 1 gram Trade Dollar Design Rounds. These are NOT COINS, COPIES, OR REPLICAS but are small bullion pieces of .999 fine silver featuring the design of the Trade Dollar. These are very finely struck pieces with mirror proof fields and nicely frosted devices. These rounds are 15mm in diameter. Weight is approximately 1 gram per round.
Each gram comes in its own individual little zip lock bag to keep them from making contact with the other pieces. Shipping includes tracking.
Remember: SILVER has always been MONEY! It is wealth you can hold! And with today’s economy, do you trust pieces of paper that claim to have value over the SILVER that is in your hand? With our country and the world in disarray, causing the stock market to go crazy and creating mass panic, how long until that panic is aimed at the banking system? Have some peace of mind with wealth you can hold.
